Mina de Agua / Santa Ana Project
Prior to the Mexican War of Independence, Mina de Agua was considered by many to be the most productive area in the central-east portion of the Temascaltepec District. Several historical mine structures, workings and dumps can still be identified today.
Based on promising results of metallurgical tests conducted on material obtained from old ore dumps, Genco's Management decided to initiate development at Mina de Agua, which is expected to be the 2nd production centre developed by Genco.
